PPI were engaged by Wilmar to provide the design, supply and installation of Lightning Protection on the Mackay Bulk Sugar Terminal.

Our scope included:

• Design of the Lightning Protection system using the Collection Volume Method (CVM).
• Removal and disposal of each existing systems, including downconductor cables, fixings.
• Fitting of new Stainless Steel mast assembly.
• Installation of new downconductor cable and Stainless Steel fastenings.
• Installation of new air terminal.
• Termination to recently renovated earthing point.
• Test and re-certification of the Lightning Protection system.
